Wheels, Wings, and Warbirds is a free fly-in, drive-in, ride-in at Texas Air Museum, Slaton Municipal Airport (F49), on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 10 AM to 2 PM. Pilots fly in. Drivers and riders park on the grass in a separate show area. Texas Air Museum hosts. EAA Chapter 19 participates.
Texas Air Museum in Slaton hosts Wheels, Wings, and Warbirds on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 10 AM to 2 PM at Slaton Municipal Airport (F49), 12102 FM 400 #34. Admission is free. It is not an airshow. Visitors walk up to the museum's aircraft on the grass. Pilots fly in to the north ramp, and drivers and riders park their own machines in a separate show area on the grass.
Pilots arrive on CTAF 123.0 and taxi to the north ramp. Display parking for aircraft, cars, trucks, and motorcycles is free. A $20 entry to the museum puts a car, truck, or motorcycle in the judged row, paid and in place by 11:00. Three judges walk the row from noon to 1:00 and award plaques for winner and runner-up in each class, plus Best of Show.
Local businesses can rent a fence bay on the crowd line for $300, and the $1,500 title sponsor may be named on the show plaques. Both go to Texas Air Museum. EAA Chapter 19 staffs a membership table. Details and a contact form are at wheelswingswarbirds.com.
